Who we are
BreakRush (breakrush.com) is run by its founder, an individual based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It is not a registered company yet.

What we collect when you play (no account needed)
- A random ID for your browser and for each visit, kept in your browser's local storage. It isn't linked to your name, email or phone.
- A guest player: a random player ID, a secret kept in your browser, and a display name (generated, or one you choose).
- What happens in the games: boards played, scores, times, the taps or moves needed to check a result, and which buttons you used.
- Your device type, operating system and browser family (for example "Android, Chrome"). We don't store your full browser string or your IP address.
- Your country, as reported by our hosting provider.
What you choose to write
- Display names, which other players can see on leaderboards, group boards and challenges.
- Puzzle messages and the names on them. A message is shown only to someone who solves its puzzle; the names show on the link.
- Group names, and which groups you join. Members of a group see each other's display names and Daily Board results.
- Feedback you send us.
If you sign in with Google (optional)
Your Google account ID and, if Google has verified it, your email address. We don't receive your Google password, contacts or anything else in your Google account.
How we use it
- To run the games: keep your progress, check results fairly, and rank Daily Boards, groups and challenges.
- To keep your profile on every device when you sign in.
- To understand what works and improve the games.
- To keep BreakRush safe: rate limits, filtering, and handling reports.
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for targeted advertising. BreakRush shows no ads today; this policy will change before any do. We'll only email you if you separately agree to it.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts the site, the API and the database.
- Vercel hosts our private admin tool.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google (Google's privacy policy covers your Google account).
How long we keep it
Game data stays as long as BreakRush runs, unless you ask us to delete it. Reported messages and groups are hidden at once and may be kept for safety reviews.
Your choices and rights
- Play without signing in. Clearing your browser's site data removes your guest player from that browser.
- Change your display name at any time, and sign out on any device from your profile.
- Ask to see, correct or delete your data: email breakrush.dev@gmail.com with your display name. We reply within 30 days.
- Grievances: the founder, at breakrush.dev@gmail.com.
Children
BreakRush isn't meant for children under 13. If you're under 18, please use it only with a parent's or guardian's permission.
